Anne Morag Raitt (born 1941 in Haymarket, Edinburgh) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between May 1992 and August 2000 as Doreen Horton, mother of Lisa and grandmother of Tommy Duckworth.
She trained at the Edinburgh College of Speech & Drama (LRAM).
Her other credits include roles in Judith Paris, The Stars Look Down, The Lost Tribe, White Peak Farm, Taggart, A Time to Dance, Three Seven Eleven, Roughnecks, Dangerfield, Peak Practice and Casualty, along with the 1971 comedy drama film Bleak Moments.
On stage, she appeared in productions of 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, Henry VI, Sons of Light and A and R for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Other works include Electra, Uncle Vanya, Mothers & Others, Loving Reno, The Crucible, Agnes of God, The German Connection, Lady of Letters, Talking Heads, House of Bernarda Alba and Mother of All Burns.
