Ann Stewart Walford (born 22nd August 1928 in Calcutta, India; died 7th February 2009 in Surrey) was heard on Coronation Street in June 1984 as an announcer working for Radio Weatherfield.

Her other credits included roles in Big City, No Hiding Place and Emergency-Ward 10, along with the films The Gold Express and Orders to Kill.

For radio, she was heard in the plays Mate in Three, The Escapist and the 1958 serial The Hungry Spider.

On stage, she appeared in productions of September Tide, The Late Christopher Bean, Bold Lover, The Deep Blue Sea, The Return, The Living Room, Mrs Willie, Richard II, Darling and Eighty in the Shade.

In 1959, she married actor Christopher Hancock, who himself appeared on Coronation Street. The couple subsequently divorced.
