Anita Vettesse (born in Edinburgh) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between January 2017 and October 2024 as Dr Ralston, based at Weatherfield General.
She graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 1996 with a BA in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft.
Her other television credits include roles in The Bill, High Road, Waterloo Road, The Crash, Bob Servant, Hollyoaks, The Loch, Outlander, Vigil, Mayflies and Guilt.
Film roles include Changed Days, Hector, Only You, Get Duked! and Guilt.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Educating Rita, Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp, Sabina by Chris Dolan, First You're Born and Blithe Spirit. She also wrote the plays Ring Road, The Hand Over and Faith.
