Angela Crow (born 13th December 1935 in Horsforth, near Leeds, died 3rd March 2022 in Bradford), was a RADA-trained actress who appeared in Coronation Street as Doreen Lostock from 1961 to 1963. She made her debut on the programme in Episode 12 in January 1961. She was also one of only two former regulars on the programme to appear in one of its spin-offs when she played the role of Miss Clapper in the season two episode of Pardon the Expression, Whose Baby Are You? (the other regular was Christine Hargreaves).
Angela first worked at the Bromley Repertory Company after her graduation and appeared in many provincial theatres, the Edinburgh Festival and in Under Milk Wood at the New Theatre in London as well as at that city's open air theatre in Regent's Park for the Robert Atkins Company and West End theatre (recently with the Peter Hall Company). She has enjoyed high-profile television work for six decades including Hancock's Half Hour, Last of the Summer Wine, Grange Hill, Heartbeat and The Royal.
Forty-nine years after starring in Coronation Street, she appeared on The Corrie Years in September 2012 to talk about the experience.
