Andrew Stanson appeared on Coronation Street in February 1991 as a journalist from the Weatherfield Gazette, covering the opening of the Friends of Weatherfield Hospital Charity Shop.
He graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 1986.
His other credits include roles in Byker Grove, Cardiac Arrest, Drifters, Autopsy: The Last Hours of and The Full Monty, along with the 1994 film Mairi Mhor.
