Andrew Dowbiggin (born in Leicester) appeared on Coronation Street between December 2016 and March 2017 as Toby Chapman, former husband of Toyah Battersby.
Having previously worked in the steel and construction industry, he graduated from the E15 Acting School.
His other television credits include roles in Love Soup, Hustle, Silent Witness, Emmerdale, Cilla, Casualty, Doctors and COBRA, along with the regular role of D.S. James Clarke in The Bay.
Film roles include Weekender, Top Dog and The Lost Choices and Partner in Crime.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Witness for the Prosecution, The Frozen Scream and Thankfully There is Moonlight!.
