Amerjit Deu appeared in Coronation Street in December 2011 as a Doctor at Weatherfield General.
An actor since the mid 1980s has appeared in a wide range of roles in all mediums including, for television, EastEnders, A Touch of Frost, Paradise Heights, Holby City, The Bill, Waking the Dead, Hollyoaks, Doctors and Law and Order.
On stage he has appeared in The Satanist, Clerical Outfitters, Frost and Nixon, Seven Other Children and Evie's Story.
His radio work includes Silver Street, Behind Closed Doors and Gilda and Her Daughters while his film work includes Mr Jones, Mob Handed and A Place in the Stars.
