Amer Nazir appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in August 2001 as Adil Aziz, the solicitor who represented Roy Cropper after he and wife Hayley were arrested for the abduction of Wayne Hayes, and he returned to the programme as an Enquiry Officer manning the front desk of Weatherfield Police Station, appearing intermittently between October 2015 and July 2019.
His other credits include roles in Bob's Weekend, Stanton Blues, Mersey Beat, Keen Eddie, EastEnders, Jane Hall and Happy Valley.
