Amber Sainsbury (born 28th August 1978 in New Zealand) appeared on Coronation Street in July 2002 as Australian Kerry Fletcher. She and her backpacking friend Jules Robinson were taken in at 5 Coronation Street for a few days by Les Battersby.

She graduated from Douglas Webber Academy with a Diploma in Drama and Art (distinction) and has been credited for roles in Plainclothes, Young Hercules, The Bill, Murder in Mind, Hex and Fairytales, along with the films Channelling Baby, The Purifiers, The Ferryman and 30 Days of Night.

Having since given up acting to set up the African based arts charity Dramatic Need - of which she is a trustee, she continues to teach drama workshops in Africa on conflict resolution and gender issues.
