Alice Arnold (born 1962 in Esher, Surrey) appeared on Coronation Street in February 1987 as Doctor Whitaker, caring for Gail Tilsley when she went into premature labour with daughter Sarah Louise.
After gaining a degree in politics, she trained as an actress at the Drama Studio, London and served as a magistrate for ten years. Her other television roles include Rockliffe's Babies, Grange Hill, The Bill, Peep Show, Holby City and Broken News.
