Alec Sabin (born 28th August 1947 in Yorkshire) appeared on Coronation Street in September 1972 as Colin Lomax, grandson of Ena Sharples (The character was played by David Jones in his sole 1961 appearance).
His other credits include roles in La filière, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Doctor Who, French Fields and Silent Witness.
On stage, he appeared in productions of A Yard of Sun for the Nottingham Playhouse Company along with The Love Girl and the Innocent and The Maid's Tragedy for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
