Alan Halsall

Alan Halsall

Alan David Halsall was born 11th August, 1982 in Salford. He has played Tyrone Dobbs since Episode 4517 (30th November 1998), though he had appeared as an extra in Episode 3999 (12th April 1996).

He was trained in drama classes by David Johnson who had also taught Anna Friel and Suranne Jones. His previous roles included parts in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, My Dad's a Boring Nerd, The Cops, Queer as Folk and Heartbeat. His TV debut was in Children's Ward.

He married former Street star Lucy-Jo Hudson (Katy Harris) in 2009 and the couple's first child, Sienna-Rae, was born on 7th September 2013. Since 2019 he has been in a relationship with another co-star, Tisha Merry (Steph Britton).
