Alan Gerrard (born 15th May 1929 in Tyldesley, Manchester; died 29th January 2009 in London) played four separate characters on Coronation Street:
- Hotel manager Harry Sedgewick in February 1965
- Import and Export officer Mr Gunter in September 1968
- Amusement arcade manager Bill Blakeley between April and May 1969
- Mossley Range landlord George Scully between January and February 1973.
His other credits include Just Dennis, Knock on Any Door, Doctor Who, The Newcomers, Z Cars, Hadleigh, Shabby Tiger and Crown Court. He also had uncredited roles in the films In the Doghouse and The Christmas Tree.
On stage, he appeared in a production of Halfway Up the Tree.
