Alan Frost was an alias used multiple times by Pat Phelan. The name was created by a man named Russ, a friend of Vinny Ashford, after Vinny requested and purchased fake passports from him, so that he and Pat could flee to Mexico after the Calcutta Street flat scam. Phelan used his Alan Frost identity and passport to gain access to Flora McArdle, Vinny's mum, at the Summer Forest Nursing Home, after Daniel Osbourne led him there after his investigations into the scam. The identity was used by Pat again when he himself was on the run from the authorities in 2018; after being exposed as a murderer - involved in the deaths of Michael Rodwell and Vinny as well as being responsible for the killings of Andy Carver and Luke Britton. He used the identity when he checked in to a B&B, and again when he sought temporary residence at a caravan park in Abergele, Wales.
