Africa is the world's second largest continent. Its most populous city is Cairo, Egypt. Long regarded as the cradle of humanity, Africa is also renowned for its wildlife, particularly the "Big Five": lion, African elephant, Cape Buffalo, leopard and black rhinoceros.
