Adam Sunderland is a British actor who trained at the Manchester Polytechnic School of Theatre. He has appeared in many theatre productions, notably in the north of England and in his earliest TV casting, played the part of the grandson (alongside actor Johnny Maxfield) in a series of Heinz Tomato Soup advertisements during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
In Coronation Street he played PC Thomas in September 2003 and an unnamed Vicar intermittently between 2010 and 2012.
Other TV credits include First Post (a Granada Television production, directed by Eric Prytherch), Juliet Bravo, Behind the Bike Sheds, The Ward, Brookside, Heartbeat and The Royal Today.
