- 1967 - Ena Sharples meets old acquaintance Henry Foster who confesses his guilt in taking a job from Alfred Sharples in the 1930s depression when Alfred was at his lowest ebb and who died soon after. Despite this past, Ena and Henry become good friends.
- 1996 - Tracy Barlow visits Ken Barlow and Deirdre Rachid to break the news that she's getting married.
- 1998 - Tony Horrocks is beaten up by some drug dealers he's been doing business with.
- 2002 - Vikram Desai starts to use the takings from Street Cars to feed his betting habit.
- 2005 - Sarah Platt and boyfriend Scooter Makuna split up.
- 2006 - Becky Granger returns to the street when she joins Hayley Cropper's literacy class for ex-offenders.
- 2009 - Joe McIntyre proposes to Gail Platt on his boat Gail Force, which is named after her. Gail accepts.
