- 1962 - Dennis Tanner attempts to thaw frozen pipes in Minnie Caldwell's kitchen but ends up flooding her house instead.
- 1973 - Maggie Clegg turns down Alf Roberts's offer to be his mayoress, worried about what would happen to the corner shop.
- 1992 - First appearance of Lisa Horton. Terry Duckworth introduces Lisa to his parents Jack and Vera. They're shocked that Lisa is pregnant with Terry's baby.
- 1997 - Roy Cropper and Alma Baldwin come to an agreement over the sale of Jim's Cafe. Roy buys the cafe for £35,000.
- 2003 - Toyah Battersby leaves Weatherfield to go to London with Spider Nugent, having fallen out with her flatmate Maria Sutherland.
- 2010 - Recovering alcoholic Peter Barlow spoils a party celebrating his partner Leanne Battersby's new wine bar by getting drunk.
- 2018 - Gemma Winter discovers that Henry Newton is only going out with her to win a bet and finishes with him.
