Coronation Street history[]
- 1914 - The First World War breaks out. Albert Tatlock and his friends Dinky Low and Clarrie Ross join the Lancashire Fusiliers as soon as the war is declared, they train at Bury and leave in late 1915 for France.
- 1962 - Ken Barlow and Valerie Tatlock get married.
- 1969 - Albert Tatlock proposes to Alice Pickins.
- 1980 - Daisy Hibbert blames Alf Roberts for the death of her daughter Renee when she finds out that he was breathalysed after the car crash.
- 1982 - Ron Sykes and Brian Tilsley open up S & T Garage.
- 1995 - Steve McDonald and Vicky Arden leave for St. Lucia to get married.
- 2000 - Bethany Platt is christened. Marion Stowe causes a scene when she drags daughter Candice from the after-service party as she thinks Sarah is a bad influence on her.
- 2007 - Angela Hawthorne dies from a heart attack.
- 2011 - Becky McDonald starts work at Nick's Bistro and sleeps with Nick Tilsley. Tina McIntyre moves out of the corner shop flat and into No.9.
- 2014 - Ken Barlow returns to Coronation Street after spending a year in Canada nursing his ill grandson Adam, however his happiness to be home turns to fury when he learns from Carla that his son Peter has been charged with the murder of Tina McIntyre and that Carla had lost the couple's unborn child, facts that wife Deirdre had withheld from him.
- 2017 - Erica Holroyd leaves for Spain when her relationship with Dev Alahan comes to an end after her fling with Kevin Webster.
