- 1994 - Percy Sugden proposes to Maud Grimes who accepts him.
- 1997 - Fiona Middleton and Alan McKenna hold an engagement party where Andy McDonald causes a scene.
- 1999 - Progressive vicar Jessica Lundy agrees to marry Roy Cropper and transsexual Hayley Patterson.
- 2005 - To protect her daughter, Angela Harris makes a false confession of the murder of her husband Tommy while Katy and Craig Harris's grandfather Keith Appleyard arrives to look after them.
