- 1923 - Dave Smith born.
- 1961 - Paul Cheveski is christened.
- 1965 - A faulty beam causes No.7 to suddenly collapse. The house would not be rebuilt until 1982.
- 1967 - The women of the street go on a coach outing to Tatton Park while the men go on a canal barge on Cheshire's waterways complete with a crate of ale.
- 1978 - Ena Sharples proves that she is the Rovers' longest-serving customer in order to beat Albert Tatlock in a brewery contest.
- 1989 - The women are locked out of the factory and lose their jobs after its sale to builder Maurice Jones.
- 1991 - The Weatherfield Carnival takes place with the Bettabuy float on its theme of the "Horn of Plenty" as designed by Angie Freeman winning first prize.
- 1998 - Toyah Battersby runs away to London to find her real father, Ronnie Clegg.
- 1999 - Ashley Peacock's real mother, Kathleen Gutteridge, tracks him down to the butchery counter at Freshco's and buys some meat off him merely in order to see what he looks like. Ashley is unaware who she is.
- 2000 - Jeff and Doreen Horton are reconciled and take mutual grandson Tommy Duckworth back from Jack and Vera Duckworth.
- 2004 - Sean Tully becomes a lodger at No.11. Maya Sharma steals Sunita Parekh's birth certificate in the first stage of her act of revenge against her and Dev Alahan.
- 2010 - Roy and Hayley Cropper are married legally at the Shawbrooke Country House Hotel, eleven years after their first wedding, which wasn't legally recognised. Sophie Webster admits to her dad Kevin that she is having a relationship with Sian Powers when Claire Peacock tells everyone.
- 2017 - Gemma Winter worries that Rita Tanner is showing signs of senility.
- 2021 - Nina Lucas regains her memories of the night she and Seb Franklin were brutally assaulted by Corey Brent, Kelly Neelan, Eli Higginson and Jay Dowling, an attack in which Seb lost his life. Her memories reveal that Corey was the aggressor in Seb's beating, and Kelly tried to pull him off.
- 2023 - Jenny Connor sells the Rovers Return to Newton & Ridley.
