Coronation Street history[]
- 1975 - Concepta Regan visits Weatherfield for the first time since 1972. She thinks Bet Lynch is after her husband, Sean Regan.
- 1976 - Len Fairclough learns that his estranged son Stanley is visiting him.
- 1980 - Heavily pregnant Gail Tilsley experiences a false labour.
- 1986 - Rita Fairclough lets Martin Platt and Jenny Bradley borrow her car so that Jenny can go to a talent contest. Jenny wins the competition, but as they're returning home, Martin lets Jenny drive and she overturns the car. Martin is trapped inside.
- 1990 - Luke Britton is born.
- 1993 - Des and Steph Barnes' divorce comes through.
- 1995 - Norris Cole marries Angela Hawthorne. Her ex-husband Derek Wilton deliberately drives Norris to the wrong church at first.
- 1996 - Curly Watts sleeps with Maxine Heavey on his last night in Weatherfield.
- 2000 - Peter Barlow crashes Ken Barlow's car but asks Ken to say that he was driving to avoid prison.
- 2002 - Deirdre Rachid is horrified to find out that her daughter Tracy's mystery man is Dev Alahan - Deirdre slept with Dev a year ago, while she was seeing Ken Barlow.
- 2003 - Having spent the night in a police cell, Ciaran McCarthy is released in time for his wedding to Sunita Parekh. At the register office, Sunita decides not to go through with the ceremony, as she knows that Ciaran doesn't really want to marry her.
- 2006 - After guilting husband Les Battersby-Brown over his fling with Yana Lumb, Cilla reveals that she doesn't have terminal cancer, as she had previously claimed. Cilla goes alone to Florida on what was supposed to be a trip to let her enjoy her final days with her family.
- 2008 - Lloyd Mullaney and Liz McDonald share a kiss at a party. Liz expects Lloyd to regret it but he is keen to take things further.
- 2011 - The day of Sian Powers and Sophie Webster's wedding arrives but Sian ends up fleeing the church after Sophie slips up on her vows.
- 2017 - Carla Connor reveals she has kidney failure which only Roy Cropper knows about.
- 2022 - Teddy Thompkins returns from Canada with news of his missing son Leo, who in reality was murdered by Stephen Reid, but is knocked down on Rosamund Street before he can reveal anything.

- 1987 - Iain De Caestecker (the first actor to portray Adam Barlow) born.
