Coronation Street history
- 1973 - Albert Tatlock proposes to Minnie Caldwell. He thinks they should marry for financial reasons. Minnie decided to ask her friend Ena Sharples what she thinks before answering.
- 1979 - Gail Potter marries Brian Tilsley. Jack Duckworth is a guest at the ceremony (first appearance of the character).
- 1983 - Stan Ogden realises he is three years older than he thought he was when he checks his birth certificate.
