- 1942 - Janet Reid born.
- 1973 - Albert Tatlock proposes to Minnie Caldwell. He thinks that they should marry for financial reasons. Minnie decides to ask her friend Ena Sharples what she thinks before answering.
- 1979 - Brian Tilsley marries Gail Potter. Jack Duckworth is a guest at the ceremony.
- 1983 - Stan Ogden realises that he is three years older than he thought he was when he checks his birth certificate.
- 1984 - Stan Ogden's funeral takes place. Widow Hilda holds back the tears until she opens Stan's particulars from the hospital. Jude Appleton is born.
- 1999 - Mike Baldwin is fined £500 and banned from driving for a year after being caught drink-driving.
- 2000 - Matt and Charlie Ramsden take out a six-month tenancy on 6 Coronation Street.

- 2014 - The man claiming to be Gavin Rodwell is revealed to be an imposter, as he attempts to get in touch with the real Gavin upon learning from his "father" Michael that he has a hereditary heart condition.
- 2016 - Zeedan Nazir calls off his engagement to Rana Habeeb.
