Coronation Street history[]
- 1964 - Revealed to be the thief who has been stealing from everyone in the street, Trevor Ogden runs away to London.
- 1987 - Xin Chiang born.
- 1992 - Ivy Brennan turns to the bottle when Don stays away from her.
- 1994 - Tanya Pooley happily tells Bet Gilroy she's been having an affair with Bet's boyfriend Charlie Whelan and the two leave for Hamburg together.
- 2001 - Charlie Ramsden meets her real mother, Pam Hargreaves, for the first time. Edna Miller's funeral takes place at which her equally miserable sister Iris Merry attends (both characters being played by Joan Kempson).
- 2005 - Status Quo turn up in the Rovers where Francis Rossi recognises Les Battersby as someone who hurt his neck in a frenzied "fan" attack in the 1980s and pays him back in kind.
- 2010 - Gail McIntyre tells Natasha Blakeman that she knows she is lying about being pregnant by Gail's son Nick Tilsley. When Natasha promises to tell Nick the truth but doesn't, Gail does so herself.
- 2011 - Frank Foster is arrested a second time for the rape of Carla Connor, and is held in police custody.
- 2015 - Following his escalating campaign of terror against the Platt family, Callum Logan is killed by his ex-partner Kylie Platt when he attacks her sister-in-law Sarah. In a misguided attempt at a cover-up, Kylie's husband David disposes of his body in a manhole inside the garage at No.8.
- 2016 - Nigel Warner confesses to his ex sister-in-law Cathy Matthews that her late husband Alan was Alex Warner's biological father. Sharif Nazir tells his granddaughter Alya that he had an affair with Sonia Rahman years ago.
- 2020 - Daniel Osbourne steals an envelope of cash from Geoff Metcalfe in order to help Nicky Wheatley escape her life of prostitution.
- 2022 - Kelly Neelan leaves the street after finding out that Gary Windass killed her father Rick.
