- 1963 - Bad business at Gamma Garments means Leonard Swindley has to sack Emily Nugent.
- 1967 - Dennis Tanner accidentally sets Len Fairclough's living room on fire while decorating.
- 2000 - Kevin Webster and Alison Wakefield marry the day after Kevin slept with his ex-wife Sally. The Websters leave for their honeymoon in the Lake District.
- 2006 - Jason Grimshaw proposes to Violet Wilson but she turns him down.
- 2009 - Tony Gordon confesses to Maria Connor that he killed Jed Stone, even though Jed is still alive, as part of a plot to discredit her as the other murder she accused him of, that of her husband Liam, is true.
- 2012 - Steve McDonald marries Tracy Barlow. Becky McDonald shows Steve Tracy's medical record which proves her miscarriage didn't happen because Becky pushed her down the stairs. Steve tells Tracy their marriage is over, mere hours after the wedding. Becky leaves Weatherfield for Barbados with Danny Stratton.
- 2013 - Kirsty Soames falls down the stairs during an argument with Tyrone Dobbs and tries to accuse Tyrone of physically abusing her. Tyrone is arrested while Ruby is taken into temporary foster care.
- 2019 - Roy Cropper's mother, Sylvia Goodwin, dies of a heart attack in Hastings.
