- 1935 - Alec Gilroy born.
- 1961 - The residents go to Blackpool. Harry Hewitt proposes to Concepta Riley and she accepts.
- 1967 - Steve Tanner is assaulted by a mystery assailant outside Dave Smith's betting shop.
- 1974 - Janet Barlow leaves her husband Ken when he decides not to accept a job offer at the Mark Brittain Warehouse.
- 1985 - Kevin Webster moves into No.13 as Hilda Ogden's lodger.
- 1991 - Steve McDonald skives off school, missing an exam.
- 1998 - Nick Tilsley meets with Alison Oakley, the woman his dad Brian had been seeing when he was stabbed to death in 1989.
- 2000 - A jealous Tyrone Dobbs sees girlfriend Maria Sutherland with another boy, not realising it is her brother Kirk.
- 2005 - Mel Hutchwright leaves Weatherfield when Ken Barlow tells the Book Club members that he is a fraud and has been conning money out of them.
- 2006 - Danny and Frankie Baldwin agree on a divorce settlement.
- 2009 - Colin Grimshaw's funeral.
- 2015 - Carla Connor offers to buy Liz McDonald's share of the Rovers, unwittingly cutting the ground from under Tracy Barlow's feet and putting an end to her and Tony Stewart's scheme to con Liz out of the Rovers. She threatens revenge.
- 2017 - Adam Barlow kidnaps Daniel Osbourne and attempts to get Daniel to confess to attacking his father Ken. Adam later informs the police about Sinead Tinker. Daniel threatens to kill Adam if he harms Sinead.
- 2019 - Weatherfield County FC youth player James Bailey is knocked down in the street after being chased by Steve McDonald for non-payment of a cab fare.

- 1958 - Denise Welch (Natalie Barnes) born.
- 1971 - Anne Reid marries former producer and script-writer Peter Eckersley at Jackson's Row Registry Office, Manchester.
- 2000 - First appearance of Kirk Sutherland. In this instance, he is played by an uncredited walk-on actor. Andrew Whyment played the role from 22nd October 2000 onwards.
- 2019 - First appearance of James Bailey.
