Coronation Street history[]
- 1962 - Gamma Garments holds a fire practice which goes wrong when Leonard Swindley and the staff are locked out. Len Fairclough has to smash a window to let them re-enter the shop.
- 1963 - Brian Packham is born.
- 1986 - Barmaid Alison Dougherty is poached by Alec Gilroy from the Rovers to work at the Graffiti Club and she promptly runs off with the takings.
- 1990 - A Coppergram Man stripper turns up at the Rovers and serenades Vera Duckworth on her wedding anniversary. He's been sent and paid for by Steph Barnes in the latest act in the dispute between the two households.
- 1993 - After alienating most of his staff and customers, an overly-stressed Brendan Scott collapses and dies on the floor of the corner shop.
- 2000 - Emma Taylor moves into No.7 with Curly Watts.
- 2007 - David Platt, on the roof of Underworld, tells Jason Grimshaw how he wants his family dead.
- 2008 - The grand opening of the Victoria Court flats takes place.
- 2010 - Fiz Stape and Natasha Blakeman's pregnancies are announced in the Rovers, even though unbeknown to the father Nick Tilsley, Natasha has had an abortion. John Stape is offered a job at Barlow's Bookies.
- 2015 - Craig Tinker passes ten GCSE's.
- 2018 - Gina Seddon is arrested for perverting the course of justice after she tries to get rid of an incriminating phone, however she gets let off with a caution.
