13th January - Desperate to get out of prison, Rob Donovan stages a hostage-taking in the visitors room to which he brings a supposed peaceful solution involving his fake newly-found religious feelings.
15th January - Kevin Webster suspects he has testicular cancer. His wife Abi, traumatised after Mason's stabbing, begins to have hallucinations involving her dead son Seb Franklin.
22nd January - By a majority verdict, Lauren is found not guilty. Feeling used and rejected by both Daniel Osbourne and Kit Green, Daisy Midgeley announces in the Rovers that she is pregnant and either of them could be the father. Bethany Platt cancels her engagement to Daniel as a result.
27th January - Imprisoned gangster Harvey Gaskell puts intense pressure on David Platt to pay him back the money he stole from him. With a shot fired at No.8, the family flee the house and go into hiding.
4th February - Max is rescued from No.8 as various residents are suspected of being the arsonist.
10th February - Shona Platt realises that Max himself was the arsonist, setting to fire to the house as an insurance job to raise the money to pay off Harvey.
17th February - After donating a kidney to his sister, Rob stages an escape from hospital taking his recovering though weakened sister as hostage. She manages to overcome him though Rob is injured in a fall.
24th February - Daniel and Daisy get back together when Daniel mistakenly believes that he's the father of Daisy's baby. Julie Carp tells Todd Grimshaw that she has stage four sarcoma and is dying.
26th February - Ken Barlow has a heart attack after an argument with Cassie Plummer when he discovers she is poisoning him. Dylan Wilson is sentenced to six months at the Greenford Secure Training Centre for possession of a bladed article.
19th May - Mick Michaelis batters PC Craig Tinker with a baseball bat when he pulls him over for drink driving. Craig dies from his injuries.
