1st January - Learner driver Faye Windass hits Ted Spear with her car while driving home from a party with tipsy Emma Brooker. The seemingly unharmed pensioner later passes away in his flat, and the girls decide not to inform the police out of fear of going to prison.
23rd March - Sarah Barlow has Lydia arrested after she finds out that she framed Adam and lied about them having an affair, but she is released and leaves the street after Adam lies that he fell and calls a truce with Adam.
6th April - Faye tells Jon Spear the truth about his grandad's death. Afterwards, Faye is rushed to hospital after experiencing stomach pains where she learns she was never pregnant.
27th April - Max confesses to Amy that he was the one who spiked her drink, explaining that he intended to spike Daniel, and that Daniel already knew the truth. Max is later arrested on suspicion of administering a noxious substance.
30th May - Toyah crashes her car with Imran inside, Imran saves Toyah's life before he suffers a cardiac arrest and dies at the scene.
2nd June - Kevin is questioned about the work he did on Toyah's car and Abi is questioned about the attempted kidnap of Alfie, but both are released due to insufficient evidence. Toyah is questioned about the crash about whether she intentionally crashed the car as the brakes were working.
3rd June - Through flashbacks, it's revealed that Toyah crashed her car during an argument with Imran after Imran confessed to her that he committed perjury to make sure Abi didn't get custody of Alfie.
6th June - Imran's mother Saira Habeeb arrives on the street after learning about Imran's death and learns that she has a grandson. Toyah is arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
10th June - During a meeting with Mrs Crawshaw, Summer confesses that she was the one who intended to cheat and that Aadi had nothing to do with it.
13th June - Imran's funeral takes place. Brian Packham proposes to Cathy Matthews, but she doesn't give him an answer. After recovering Imran's final phone message confessing to committing perjury to get custody of Alfie, Toyah is formally charged with Imran's murder.
15th June - Cathy accepts Brian's proposal, but Brian later calls off the engagement after discovering Cathy kissed Jim Fizz.
17th June - Jack Webster discovers he was conceived through an affair between Kevin and Molly Dobbs behind Tyrone's back after overhearing a conversation between Kevin and Debbie Webster. Toyah pleads not guilty to murder and is released on bail. At the custody hearing, Abi is granted an interim care order giving her custody of Alfie in a foster unit. After splitting with Brian, Cathy leaves to stay with a friend in Chorlton. Abi's foster carer is revealed to be Wendy Papadopoulos.
20th June - Max sends a naked picture to Sonya, but on his date with her he realises he's been catfished and is blackmailed for £1,000.
22nd June - Audrey Roberts gets drunk and staggers into the barber's prop motorbike, which falls on her, pinning her to the ground.
24th June - Audrey is rushed to hospital after being found by Brian and Elaine Jones. Audrey's son Stephen Reid returns to the street. Peter manages to record Thorne confessing to his unethical practices.
27th June - Maria discovers that there's a deepfake pornographic video of her online. Simon Barlow is conned by Thorne into handing over his recorded confession.
29th June - Peter smashes up Thorne's car after the investigation against Thorne is dropped due to lack of evidence. Gary is arrested for assaulting Jimmy Dixon, but is released without charge.
1st July - Toyah stages a protest over the council planning to destroy a load of recyclable material, where she's reunited with ex-boyfriend Spider Nugent.
20th July - Gary rescues Kelly Neelan following her kidnapping by Kieron Edgerton and Ross Maloney, disgruntled associates of her late father, loan shark Rick Neelan.
10th August - Having been caught and pleading guilty to the break-in, Ryan is sentenced to community service. After trying to convince Yasmeen to hear him out, Stu is arrested for breaching the peace.
12th August - Debbie confesses to Nick and Leanne that she was behind Ryan robbing the bistro.
15th August - Audrey tells her friends about her suicide attempt.
17th August - After snapping at Tyrone and Summer, Aaron Sandford confesses to Summer that his dad has been hitting him.
22nd August - Kelly and Aadi pretend to be engaged to win a trip to Mexico.
26th August - Kelly steals Aadi's new car and accidentally crashes it. Aadi later proposes to Kelly, who accepts.
29th August - Dev, Gary and Maria discover Aadi and Kelly's engagement. During an argument, Dev accidentally pushes Aadi into a wall. Kelly later tells Aadi her plan for them to elope in Scotland.
31st August - Audrey tells her family about her suicide attempt.
5th September - During an environmental protest outside Underworld, Spider saves Toyah from arrest. Later on, she is devastated to learn that he is married.
18th September - Toyah is found not guilty of murdering Imran. Sharon Geary reveals to Kelly that Gary killed her dad.
20th September - Kelly hires her former kidnapper Kieron to kill Gary for £10,000.
21st September - Kelly calls the hit on Gary off at the last second but ends up getting captured herself.
23rd September - Aadi saves Kelly's life by jumping in front of a bullet intended for her from Kieron. He's rushed to hospital and survives, however Kelly leaves him and the street for good after finally learning the full truth over her dad's death.
26th September - Stephen murders Leo after he discovers the truth over his plot to scam Audrey.
3rd October - James moves to Lewisham to take up a new career as a youth football coach.
19th October - Summer and Aaron discover they are going to be parents. Bernie is set up by Fern Lindon to take the rap for a robbery at a jewellery shop.
24th November - Hope Stape is suspended from Weatherfield High after frightening pupils and staff by doing a book reading from John Stape: Legacy of Evil while brandishing a hammer in reference to John's murder of Charlotte Hoyle.
