Coronation Street history[]
- 1955 - Denise Osbourne is born.
- 1965 - Sandra Petty leaves Coronation Street.
- 1989 - Alan Bradley is hounded by the Rovers' regulars who think that he killed Rita Fairclough. The police dig up the building site in Coronation Street, where Alan had been working, to see if he had buried the missing Rita there.
- 1993 - Lonely Bet Gilroy and Don Brennan spend the night together!
- 2000 - Jim McDonald is sentenced to eight years in prison for manslaughter after the beating that he gave Jez Quigley proved fatal.
- 2002 - Peter Barlow and Shelley Unwin get engaged. Peter dumps his other girlfriend Lucy Richards.
- 2005 - Lauren Bolton is born.
- 2006 - Danny Baldwin is unable to come to terms with his son Jamie having a relationship with his wife Frankie. He drives Jamie to the moors and, climbing onto a viaduct, tells Jamie to leave Frankie or he'll jump. Danny goes missing. Carla Connor arrives in time for the Christmas party at Underworld.
- 2009 - John Stape is arrested for assaulting Rosie Webster, though he is innocent.
- 2010 - Ken Barlow walks in on Leanne Battersby and Nick Tilsley kissing, discovering their affair. After a talk with Ken, Leanne realises that the affair was a mistake and ends it.
