Families move into the new houses, including Percy, Aggie and Daniel Grimshaw at No.1, Samuel and Dolly Hewitt at No.3 with children George, Thomas, Flo and Betsy, Jack and Maggie Leeming at No.5, widower Ernest Popplewell and his son Harry, Harry's wife Clara and Harry and Clara's children Emily and Herbert at No.7, Albert, Pearl, Jack and Ronnie Crapper at No.9, and Alfred and Ivy Makepiece at No.11 with children Vi, Frank, Ralph, Mary and Lil Makepiece. Only No.13 remains unoccupied.
