16 Coronation Street is a business unit, currently used as Webster's Autocentre. The unit was part of Maurice Jones' redevelopment of the street in 1989.
The unit has 10 Coronation Street to the left and 14 Coronation Street to the right, with Viaduct Street to the rear of the unit.
When Coronation Street was constructed in 1902, 16 Coronation Street was the original address of the Glad Tidings Mission Hall. After demolition of the Hall and the subsequent Maisonettes, 16 Coronation Street became the address of the Community Centre flat.
