- 1965 - Charlie Moffitt leaves Weatherfield. The stress of being blackmailed causes Jack Walker to uncharacteristically shout at Minnie Caldwell and break down in tears.
- 1969 - Len Fairclough and Irma Barlow (independently) return to the street.
- 1975 - Deirdre Langton gives Tricia Hopkins a black eye when her warning that Ray Langton has been playing away turns out to be untrue.
- 1976 - Annie Walker passes her driving test.
- 1989 - Alan Bradley's funeral takes place. Only Jenny Bradley attends, with Martin Platt, Kevin and Sally Webster going to support her.
- 1997 - Emily Bishop's nephew Spider Nugent comes to stay with her.
- 2002 - Kevin Webster sacks Tommy Nelson when he finds a wallet with the name "Harris" on it in Tommy's possession and thinks that he stole it, unaware that "Harris" is Tommy's real surname.
- 2008 - Tony Gordon offers Maria Connor a million pounds to keep quiet about him killing Liam Connor.
- 2011 - Lloyd Mullaney leaves Weatherfield after deciding there is nothing left for him there.
