15a Victoria Street is the flat above the Street Cars cab office, previously owned by Steve McDonald. His mother Liz was the sole occupant when he, wife Tracy and their daughter Amy moved into 1 Coronation Street in March 2020. Liz vacated the property in August of that year when she left for a new life in Spain. Steve eventually sold out to Ray Crosby, but couldn't afford to buy the property back, having spent the money on treatment for his son Oliver - who had been diagnosed with a life-limiting form of mitochondrial disease.

Storylines[]
On Christmas Day 2011, Becky McDonald had fallen asleep in a drunken stupor while burning her and Steve's wedding photographs and the property quickly caught alight. Nick Tilsley and Hayley Cropper noticed smoke coming from the flat and while Nick kicked down the door, went upstairs and carried an unconscious Becky outside, Hayley alerted the emergency services.
