Coronation Street history[]
- 1962 - Ken Barlow and Len Fairclough fight in the Rovers Return Inn when the Coronation Street residents read a newspaper report about an article Ken has written criticising the working class.
- 1968 - Peter and Susan Barlow are saved from certain death when they are rescued from inside Elliston's Raincoat Factory, just before the wrecking ball demolishes it.
- 1969 - Ena Sharples rows with crooked bookie Dave Smith about fleecing his customers. He retaliates by demanding an outstanding £10 debt that Minnie Caldwell has built up with her gambling habit.
- 1973 - Whilst giving Bet Lynch a lift home, Alf Roberts almost reverses into pensioner Mrs. Leach. Her son, Norman, sees an opportunity for blackmailing the mayor-elect.
- 1986 - Alf Roberts buys 11 Coronation Street, much to his wife Audrey's horror.
- 1990 - Newlyweds Des and Steph Barnes move into No.6.
- 1993 - Lisa Duckworth dies.
- 2006 - Tyrone Dobbs drives his burger van into a lake when it catches fire.
- 2010 - Jason Grimshaw proposes to Tina McIntyre. She accepts.
- 2021 - Ray Crosby locks Debbie Webster in the Viaduct Bistro fridge after she tries to double-cross him. Kevin Webster tries to rescue her but is locked in with her.
