- 1983 - The residents react to the news of Len Fairclough's death.
- 1984 - Bet Lynch first entertains the idea of taking over as licensee of the Rovers.
- 1988 - Tracy Barlow is given a part in the school pantomime. Alan Bradley steals the deeds to No.7.
- 1999 - Under the name of "Tyrone's Torpedo", greyhound Monica wins a race at the dogtrack. Owner Tyrone Dobbs's celebrations are short-lived however, as the dog is later run over by a car driven by Mark Redman.
- 2005 - Mike Baldwin sacks Hayley Cropper from Underworld thinking that she stole some cheques, unaware that because of his Alzheimer's he has forgotten that he moved them himself.
- 2008 - Tony and Carla Gordon return from their honeymoon. Tony discovers Maria Connor has been accusing him of murder.
- 2012 - Jason Grimshaw kisses Stella Price. Carla Connor and Leanne Barlow have a violent catfight outside Underworld.
- 2014 - Kal Nazir finds out about Gary Windass and Alya Nazir's secret relationship.
- 2016 - Cathy Matthews calls off her wedding to Roy Cropper when she discovers that he doesn't really want to marry her.
