- 1969 - Gordon Clegg calls off his wedding to Lucille Hewitt.
- 1976 - Hilda Ogden, assisted by Deirdre Langton, completes a prize-winning trolley dash and grabs £107.32 worth of goods.
- 1982 - The factory girls are put on a three-day week. Blaming Elsie Tanner, they decide to send her to Coventry.
- 1994 - Sinead Tinker is born.
- 1997 - Gerry Turner keeps the McDonalds hostage in No.11 until Jim manages to overpower him.
- 2000 - A dead body is found under the Victoria Street building site. It is later identified as Tony Horrocks.
- 2002 - Ben Watts is christened.
- 2003 - Richard Hillman reappears at No.8, scaring Gail. The children are nowhere to be seen.
- 2004 - Mike Baldwin blames Nick Tilsley for the fire at Underworld and sacks him.
- 2006 - Emily Bishop tells a suicidal Ed Jackson that she forgives him for the murder of her husband Ernest in 1978.
- 2008 - Chesney Battersby-Brown is taken into care after Claire Peacock reports the state of No.5 to social services.
- 2011 - Tina McIntyre and Graeme Proctor stage a fake break-up in the Rovers. Graeme is to marry Xin Chiang so she won't be deported.
- 2017 - Adam Barlow is badly beaten up when a deal with drugs baron Ronan Truman goes wrong.
- 2023 - A court refuses a stalking order requested by Daisy Midgeley against Justin Rutherford, in part because Daisy’s fiancé Daniel Osbourne beat Justin up.
